BBQ is great! Excellent service! I had a pork plate with Brunswick stew, and their homemade onion rings. The pork was perfect and the homemade onion rings are perfectly cooked. Our waitress was warm, friendly very helpful. I enjoy the hometown feel of this restaurant!

Country sides were pretty awful for somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. The okra was still slimy on the inside. Cornbread and coleslaw were a little better, at least it was mayonnaise based. The bbq was sub-par and ran right through me. 2/5 will not be going back.

There aren't a lot of restaurants in Temple so we've eaten here a few times and this place has decent BBQ. The chopped pork comes smothered in sauce unless you request otherwise, and their BBQ Chicken (which is delicious) is only available Thursday through the weekend. One weekend I called to order it (Saturday afternoon) and they were out. It was a little ridiculous to hear they were out when the item is only available a few days.
However, their Brunswick Stew is great and their ribs are quite good. Their steak fries/sweet potato fries are the typical frozen product, but they are served hot.
Staff has always been very friendly. -

The BBQ is great. The Steaks looked great, but we didn't have that. It's a small town restaurant, nothing fancy, but the service and the food is good.

This place has the best biscuits! I come to Temple about once a month and every time I do, I stop and get a hoop cheese biscuit. They also have good sweet tea. I have never had their BBQ but everyone raves about it.
